Our thanks to CHANEL for launching two truly innovative new formulas just in time for spring: moisture-rich CHANEL ROUGE COCO STYLO Complete Care Lipshine and durable LE VERNIS Longwear Nail Colour. We couldn’t wait to get our hands on the newest collections and get to work in our photo studio having fun experimenting with the new shades and formulas.
We rounded up a small crew at Studio N. Our first reaction? Loving the variety of perfectly edited colors that run the gamut from classic glamour to freshly modern. We incorporated a few different inspirations throughout the shoot, which give you a tiny glimpse of the countless looks anyone can create with these superior hues. Christian Louboutin Lipstick | In the Studio
Leave it to Christian Louboutin—creator of the iconic red sole—to dream up a new classic. Last year, we went crazy for his innovative nail color and bottle design, and now we’re enamored with his newest innovation: lip color in three textures and lots of shades, all enrobed in an exquisitely designed case. (And we don’t use the word 'exquisite' lightly.) Now that it’s available at Nordstrom, we couldn’t wait to try it out for ourselves, so the Beauty Blog took a few of these unique little lovelies down to a crew at Studio N to test them our with one of our makeup artists, Shannon Rasheed.

LIFESTYLE MAVEN ATHENA CALDERONE (OF EYESWOON)
Recently, lifestyle designer and creator of the digital inspiration destination EyeSwoon Athena Calderone immersed herself in the two newest scents from Donna Karan: Liquid Cashmere Black and Liquid Cashmere White. Playing off the rich notes of the one and the airier aroma of the other, Calderone developed two distinct sensory experiences. We spoke with her about these two beautifully developed vignettes (An Indulgent Sensory Experience and the Purity of Scent Memory) and how she creates ritual in her stylized life.
